What We Will Not Do
We will not give you a firm price over the phone for a broken spring, a bent track, or a door that's come off its rollers. A torsion spring job depends on the door's weight, the wind load rating, and whether the drums and cables are worn too - none of that shows up in a phone call. What we can do on the phone is give you a realistic range and tell you what we're looking for once we're on site.
We also won't quote a full opener swap without knowing the door's age. Boise's housing stock in this area runs mostly 1994 to 2009, with a lot of it built right around 2006, so many openers we see are original to the house and pushing past the point where parts are still made for them. That changes whether we recommend a repair or a replacement, and we'd rather tell you that in person than guess over the phone.
